Why Choose Peggy Melmoth for Online Counselling?
With NHS waiting lists growing and life getting busier, many turn to online counselling for quick and accessible help. Peggy provides the same care and expertise as in-person sessions, but with the added convenience of flexible scheduling and location options.
Peggy Says,
I’ve been working in therapeutic and mental health support roles since 2002. My approach is compassionate, non-judgemental and holistic. I have specialist experience supporting those recovering from addiction.
- Are you experiencing anxiety or depression?
- Are you struggling with low self-esteem, or relationship difficulties?
- Have you experienced a bereavement or trauma?
Whatever you are facing right now, I can support you to explore your difficulties, and help you to find a way to move forward. Our work together will be guided by you, so you will never need to share, say or do anything you don’t want to. You can expect to be met with kindness and understanding from me, rather than judgement.
How I Work
I first listen to what you would like to work on and what you would like to achieve with therapy. I am an integrative therapist, which means I use several different counselling theories, which are then tailored to you as an individual. You may like to discover the root of your problems, or learn new strategies to manage life’s challenges.
Short term work tends to be between six and twelve sessions, but we can also do long term work if you are interested in gaining even more self-awareness, and identifying the roots of a problem.
At the moment I am only offering online sessions, which allows you the flexibility to receive therapy in the comfort of your own home.
I do not give advice, but instead empower you to find your own solutions, and gain insight into your experiences.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and work within its Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions (2018). I also have monthly supervision sessions with an experienced supervisor, who oversees my counselling work.
To help you make a decision about whether you would like to work with me I encourage you to book a call with me, where I can answer any questions that you may have.

Your First Session
When we first meet we will spend some time talking about what you would like to gain from therapy. There will be space for any questions, fears or concerns, and we will consider how we might work together. If I felt that I could not offer the best or most appropriate help for you, I may signpost you to another practitioner, or a service more suited to your needs.

Message Me on Facebook or use our contact form to request a unique reference number. This will protect your personal data making it non-identifiable, when you complete the Counselling Assessment Form, so that I can learn a bit more about you before our call.
