What is it?
Mindfulness, art, delicious food and good company, close to an ancient ruined castle in Plympton St. Maurice.
Everyone is welcome, especially those new to mindfulness or art. The day includes guided mindfulness, and a chance to be creative for fun, without any judgement of your work.Emma
Food: Our caterer supplies us with homemade bread, homemade cakes and a selection of cheeses, houmous, olives and fruit.
Location: The retreat takes place in the picturesque village of Plympton St Maurice, near Plymouth, in South Devon. Outdoor activities are held in public green spaces; lunch is served in the local Guildhall. Most of the event is outdoors but can be moved to our indoor venue in the case of rain. Should the event be cancelled due to a new lockdown, we will refund all tickets.
Accessibility: This event may be unsuitable for some people with mobility issues as it involves some off-road walking, and some of it is based in an upstairs room in a historical building, which does not have a lift. Please contact us to discuss this before booking if you think this may impact you.
What makes this retreat so special?
Free your mind from self-criticism with art sessions designed to reconnect you to your more playful self. After practising mindfulness outdoors, we are invited to play with art materials in a guided session with no outcome in mind. Discover the healing effects of creating mindfully with Emma, an experienced art and mindfulness teacher, and Peggy, an artist trained in counselling skills and hypnotherapy.
